The MuRata CR2430 is a primary lithium coin cell based on Li-MnO₂ chemistry, engineered for long-term reliability and consistent performance in medium-drain applications. With a nominal voltage of 3V and capacity of ~285mAh, it offers a balance between compact size and high energy density.

This cell is widely used in medical devices, keyless entry systems, wearable electronics, IoT devices, real-time clocks (RTC), and backup power systems. MuRata’s CR series is known for low internal resistance, excellent leakage resistance, and stable performance across a wide temperature range (-30°C to +85°C).

Compared to smaller coin cells like CR2032 (220mAh), the CR2430 provides extended runtime due to its larger 24mm diameter and 3.0mm thickness, making it suitable for applications requiring long-lasting, dependable power.
